The TE¡NK exhibition, located on the ground floor of the old fishermen’s guild building in Lekeitio, offers a reflection on the evolution of the town’s productive landscape through four key historical activities: shipbuilding, txakoli wine production, timber exploitation, and fishing.
At B.lux, we are pleased to collaborate on this project by providing several of our luminaires to illuminate the exhibition space. The intervention, designed by 99b, coexists with the current use of the space as a net storage area, highlighting both the tangible and intangible heritage of Lekeitio.
TE¡NK combines architecture, memory, and design in an exhibition that not only showcases the productive spaces of the past but also invites us to imagine new possible uses for them. Through an installation built with local materials such as wood, fishing nets, and light, the exhibition offers a contemporary interpretation of labor and its impact on the identity of the territory.
Once again, at B.lux we proudly support cultural projects that are committed to the land, memory, and design.
