Description

BIMU is a simple three-dimensional linear lighting system based on linear components measuring 1000, 1500 and 2000 mm in length and 20 mm in diameter. The linear components are interlinked via a system of fast-connection jacks that allows the light source to be freely rotated on its axis. In addition, the system allows the luminaire to be installed in a stepped format at different heights and angles (its small ears mean the angles are absorbed very naturally). Finishes: Matte black, matte white and black orange.

Carrasquet

Xavier Fernández-Carrasquet is a designer born in Barcelona with a great passion for design in all its disciplines. After studying at Elisava, he began his career working as a product designer at Benedito Design, where he created products for various sectors. He then joined LUXIONA, where he deepened his knowledge of manufacturing processes and worked on projects with renowned designers such as Jean Nouvel and Toni Arola. From 2017, he led the Design Studio Barcelona Creative Lab for the multinational XAL. He currently collaborates with companies like B.lux and professionals in the sector, and has been teaching at Elisava since 2013, sharing his experience and knowledge with new generations as a tutor for Master's final projects.
